Alapchat uses artificial intelligence to power its customer support chatbot. When you interact with an Alapchat widget, you are communicating with an AI system, not a human.
Alapchat uses Google Gemini AI models hosted in the European Union. These models generate responses based on retrieved document context and configured instructions.
We do not use your conversations, documents, or any other data to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. Your data is used solely to provide the service.
We implement prompt injection detection to prevent misuse of the AI system. Our moderation pipeline identifies and blocks attempts to manipulate AI responses.
We regularly evaluate AI outputs for bias and take steps to minimize harmful or discriminatory responses. Our Q&A override feature allows customers to ensure accurate, unbiased answers for critical topics.
Under GDPR Art. 22, you have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing. You may request human review of any AI-generated response by contacting the website owner or alapchat.com/contact.
Alapchat is designed to comply with the EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689). We clearly disclose when users are interacting with an AI system in accordance with Art. 52.
Alapchat is not intended for use by children under 16. AI interactions should be supervised by an adult for younger users.
